Nestled between the Rhône and the Mediterranean sea, Provence is a land of water where springs are sacred and their outpouring providential.
The best example is the origin of Marseille, which never would have existed if the beautiful Gyptis had not offered a cup of water to Protis, thus designating him as her future husband. Protis was the leader of the Greek colonists from Phocaea and Gyptis was the daughter of the king of Ligures, the tribe that then occupied lower Provence. As a wedding gift, they received a section of the coastline on which they founded Massalia...
As a tribute to this water, the source of life that drenches the lands of Provence, Compagnie de Provence creates a collection of colognes. Each one offers you an olfactory break that evokes unique fantasy.

"Just hearing the word 'Provence' takes me back to the Mimosa Road that connects Bormes-les-Mimosas to Grasse. In winter, these 130 kilometers are lush with golden flowers and light. I still travel this road, and I always will, this road where I like to stop in winter and bury my face in yellow gold, as soft and wild as my childhood."
Unlike the palette of blues for which Provence is known around the world, my Provence is resolutely gold, like the mimosa blossoms that perfume my childhood memories, like the sun-warmed sand on Côte d'Azur beaches. My Provence is fresh and sparkling, like citrus fruits bursting with juiciness. My Provence is beautiful wearing its finest shades of yellow and gold. This cologne is my declaration of love; I created it to reveal my imaginary world to you, rising magically from your skin. A cologne where grapefruit, lemon and mandarin swirl together, where mimosa and a sunny violet blend into a twilight of wood and musk.

A yellow gradient, a variation around gold.
Headnotes where grapefruit is mixed with lemon and mandarin, heartnotes where the mimosa dominates, with violet and solar notes as counterpoint, on a musky base overshadowing all this light.
Because the alchemy of perfume with the skin is unique, fragrance must be worn to be revealed.
Try it on the inside of the wrists, the neck or behind the ears.
Also spray your perfume on your clothes : on a lapel of vest, a shirt collar or a skirt hem. Natural materials like wool and cashmere will reveal all.
External use only. Flammable. Do not use near open flames. Do not spray in eyes.
