Nestled between the Rhône and the Mediterranean sea, Provence is a land of water where springs are sacred and their outpouring providential.
The best example is the origin of Marseille, which never would have existed if the beautiful Gyptis had not offered a cup of water to Protis, thus designating him as her future husband. Protis was the leader of the Greek colonists from Phocaea and Gyptis was the daughter of the king of Ligures, the tribe that then occupied lower Provence. As a wedding gift, they received a section of the coastline on which they founded Massalia...
As a tribute to this water, the source of life that drenches the lands of Provence, Compagnie de Provence creates a collection of colognes. Each one offers you an olfactory break that evokes unique fantasy.

the freshness and liveliness of citrus head notes
the sophistication of perfumes that last
Vincent van Gogh saw Provence as "the land of blue shades and gay colors". Through his eyes, I wanted to glorify water, the element that dominates all others. Water that embraces all the subtle tones of green and blue created by the sun as it moves through the sky. Salty seas shaping rocky inlets. The fertile flow that irrigates orchards throughout the region. My cologne is a tribute to the water of Provence, in all its forms. A sparkling, salty wave of grapefruit and bergamot. A torrent of flowers and fresh fruit. A veil of pure foam, with mineral overtones and musky on the skin. This cologne offers itself to you with limpidity and truth. Draw freshness, calm and serenity from it. Breathe in the fragrant after-scent of rushing water...

A wave of citrus notes (Bergamot / Grapefruit) followed by a refreshing wind and marine air (Juniper berries / Ozone)
This clear water wave energizes a subtle heart of flowers and fruits (green stem / Melon / Neroli) tinted in white (white musk).
This perfuming composition contains 2 essential oils of natural origin: bergamot oil in the head notes, and the junipery oil in the base notes.
Because the alchemy of perfume with the skin is unique, fragrance must be worn to be revealed.
Try it on the inside of the wrists, the neck or behind the ears.
Also spray your perfume on your clothes : on a lapel of vest, a shirt collar or a skirt hem. Natural materials like wool and cashmere will reveal all.
External use only. Flammable. Do not use near open flames. Do not spray in eyes.
